以英语为母语者习得汉语连词的偏误分析与教学对策的中期报告 Abstract: ThisreportaimstoanalyzethecommonerrorsmadebyEnglishnativespeakersintheacquisitionofChineseconjunctions,andtoproposeeffectiveteachingstrategies.Basedonananalysisofseveralrelevantstudies,thisreportidentifiesfivemajorcategoriesoferrors,includingconfusionbetweenconjunctionswithsimilarmeanings,overuseofEnglishconjunctions,andimproperuseofconjunctionsincomplexsentences.Thereportalsoproposesteachingstrategiessuchasdirectinstruction,explicitinstruction,andtheuseofcorpus-basedanalysistosupportlearners'understandingofChineseconjunctionusage. Introduction: ThecorrectuseofconjunctionsiscrucialforachievingcoherenceandcohesioninbothoralandwrittenChinesecommunication.ForEnglishnativespeakerswhoarelearningChineseasaforeignlanguage,masteringChineseconjunctionscanbechallengingduetothedifferencesingrammarandusagebetweenthetwolanguages. ThisreportaimstoanalyzethecommonerrorsmadebyEnglishnativespeakersintheacquisitionofChineseconjunctions,andtoproposeeffectiveteachingstrategies.Thereportisdividedintothreeparts:thefirstpartprovidesaliteraturereviewofrelevantstudiesonconjunctionsinChineseandEnglish;thesecondpartidentifiesfivemajorcategoriesoferrorsandtheircauses;thethirdpartproposesstrategiesforteachingChineseconjunctionstoEnglishnativespeakers. LiteratureReview: ResearchontheacquisitionofChineseconjunctionsbyEnglishnativespeakersislimited.However,studiesonconjunctionsinChineseandEnglishhaveprovidedusefulinsightsintothedifferencesingrammarandusagebetweenthetwolanguages,whichcaninformeffectiveteachingstrategies. Chen(2016)identifiedthreetypesofconjunctionsinChinese:coordinatingconjunctions,subordinatingconjunctions,andconjunctiveadverbs.Coordinatingconjunctionsareusedtoconnecttwoindependentclauses,whereassubordinatingconjunctionsareusedtoconnectadependentclausetoanindependentclause.Conjunctiveadverbsfunctionasconnectorsbetweenclausesorsentences.
