Withthedevelopmentofinformationtechnology,universitywebpageshavebecomeanimportantplatformforpromotingeducation,disseminatingknowledge,providingservices,andcommunicatingwiththepublic.Atthesametime,globalizationpromotesagrowingdemandforinternationalcommunication.Thus,EnglishtranslationoftheuniversitywebpageshasbecomeessentialforenhancingtheinternationalreputationandcompetitivenessofuniversitiesinZhejiangProvince,China.However,thequalityofEnglishtranslationvariesgreatlyduetovariousreasonssuchastheleveloftranslationcompetence,theawarenessoflocalization,theconsiderationoftextualfunction,andthetargetaudience'sexpectation.Therefore,itisnecessarytoinvestigatetheEnglishtranslationoftheintroductionpagesofZhejiangProvince'suniversitiesfromtheperspectiveoftranslationtheory,inordertoidentifytheproblemsandprovidesolutionstoimprovethequalityofEnglishtranslation.

-AnalyzethefunctionalfeaturesoftheintroductionpagesofZhejiangProvince'suniversitiesandtheirrequirementsfortranslation.
-IdentifytheproblemsofEnglishtranslationoftheintroductionpagesofZhejiangProvince'suniversitiesfromtheperspectiveoftranslationtheory.
-ProposesolutionsforimprovingthequalityofEnglishtranslationoftheintroductionpagesofZhejiangProvince'suniversities.
Methods:
Themethodsofthisstudyareto:
-ConductaqualitativeanalysisofthefunctionalfeaturesoftheintroductionpagesofZhejiangProvince'suniversitiesbyusingtheSystemicFunctionalLinguistics(SFL)theory.
-InvestigatetheproblemsofEnglishtranslationoftheintroductionpagesofZhejiangProvince'suniversitiesthroughcontrastiveanalysisofChineseandEnglishtexts,anderroranalysisofEnglishtranslations.
-ProposesolutionsforimprovingthequalityofEnglishtranslationoftheintroductionpagesofZhejiangProvince'suniversitiesbyreferringtothetranslationalnorms,theprinciplesoffunctionalequivalence,an
