Zhejiangprovince,locatedontheeastcoastofChina,ishometonumerousuniversitiesthatofferhigh-qualityeducationwithafocusoninnovationandentrepreneurship.However,thewebsitesoftheseuniversitiesstillfacechallengesintermsofpresentingtheiruniquefeaturesandstrengthsinEnglish,especiallyforinternationalstudentsandscholars.Therefore,thisstudyaimstoprovideatranslationframeworkbasedonthetheoryoffunctionalitytoenhancetheaccuracy,fluencyandreader-friendlinessofEnglishtranslationsofwebpageintroductionsforuniversitiesinZhejiangprovince. 2.ResearchObjectives Theobjectivesofthisresearchareasfollows: -ToinvestigatetheexistingproblemsandchallengesofEnglishtranslationsofwebpageintroductionsforuniversitiesinZhejiangprovince; -Toexploretherelevantprinciplesandtechniquesofthetranslationtheoryoffunctionality,whichcanbeappliedtothetranslationofwebpageintroductionsinhighereducation; -ToprovideanEnglishtranslationframeworkbasedonthetheoryoffunctionalitythataddressesthespecificneedsandpurposesofthewebpageintroductionsforuniversitiesinZhejiangprovince; -Toevaluatetheeffectivenessandpracticalityoftheproposedframeworkthroughcasestudiesandfeedbackfromstakeholders. 3.ResearchQuestions Theresearchquestionsthatwillguidethisstudyareasfollows: -WhatarethecommonproblemsandchallengesintheEnglishtranslationsofwebpageintroductionsforuniversi
