ResearchQuestion:WhatmotivateschildrenofmigrantworkerstolearnEnglish? Objectives: Theobjectivesofthisresearchare: 1.ToidentifythemotivationfactorsthatdrivechildrenofmigrantworkerstolearnEnglish. 2.Toinvestigatetheinfluenceofparents'educationalbackgroundontheirchildren'smotivationtolearnEnglish. 3.ToexaminetheimpactofEnglishlearningonthefutureprospectsofchildrenofmigrantworkers. Methodology: Thisresearchwillbeconductedusingamixed-methodapproach.Theprimarydatacollectionmethodwillbethroughsurveyquestionnairesadministeredtochildrenofmigrantworkersandtheirparentslivinginurbanareas.Thesamplesizewillbedeterminedbyusingthesamplesizecalculator,andaminimumof100participantswillberequired.Thesurveyinstrumentswillbedevelopedafteranextensiveliteraturereviewanddiscussionswithexpertsinthefield.Thesurveywillbeintheformofclosed-endedquestions,withtheoptionforadditionalopen-endedresponses. Followingthesurvey,semi-structuredinterviewswillbeconductedwithaselectionofparticipantstoprovidemorein-depthinsightsintothemotivationfactorsidentifiedinthesurvey.Theinterviewswillbeaudio-recordedandtranscribedforanalysis. ExpectedOutcomes: ThisresearchisexpectedtoprovideinsightsintothemotivationfactorsthatdrivechildrenofmigrantworkerstolearnEnglish.TheresearchwillalsodeterminetheimpactofEnglishlearningonthefutureprospectsofthesechildren.Thefindingsofthisresearchwillbeusefultoeducationpolicymakers,educators,andparentsinunderstandingtheneedsofthesechildrenanddesigningappropriateEnglishlanguag
