Introduction: Inrecentyears,therapidurbanizationandeconomicdevelopmentinmanycountrieshaveledtoaninfluxofrural-to-urbanmigration.Asaresult,asignificantnumberofchildrenfrommigrantfamiliesattendurbanprimaryschools.Thesechildren,oftenreferredtoasmigrantchildrenorleft-behindchildren,faceuniqueeducationalandsocialchallenges.Languagebarriers,culturaldifferences,andalackofresourcesposesignificantobstaclestotheiracademicsuccess.Amongthesechallenges,afocusontheEnglishlanguagebecomesincreasinglyimportantasitisconsideredagloballanguageandakeyskillforfutureopportunities.
