Introduction: Languageerosionisacomplexandmultifacetedphenomenonthataffectslanguagesacrosstheglobe.Itoccurswhenalanguagelosesitsnativespeakersorwhenitsstructureandvocabularyundergochangesovertime.Whilelanguageerosionmayoccurforvariousreasons,thisstudyfocusesspecificallyonthegenderdifferencesthatcontributetotheerosionofEnglishasalanguage. Methods: Thisresearchutilizesamixed-methodsapproachtoexplorethegenderdifferencesinlanguageerosion.Firstly,acorpusofspokenandwrittenEnglishlanguagesampleswillbecollectedfrombothmaleandfemaleEnglishspeakers.Languagesampleswillbeanalyzedtoidentifydifferencesinvocabulary,grammar,anddiscoursepatterns.Secondly,surveyswillbeadministeredtogaugeindividuals'languageproficiencyandattitudestowardslanguageuse.Lastly,interviewswillbeconductedwithEnglishspeakerstogatherqualitativedataontheirlanguageusageandexperiences. Results: TheanalysisofthelanguagesamplesrevealsthatthereareindeedgenderdifferencesinlanguageerosioninEnglish.Femalestendtoadoptnewlinguisticfeaturesandchangetheirlanguageusemorerapidlycomparedtomales.Thistrendcouldbeattributedtosocioculturalfactorssuchassocializationandlinguisticstereotypes.Femalesmayfeelmoreinclinedtoadapttheirlanguagetofitsocietalexpectationsandbemoresensitivetolinguistictrends.
