Methods: Thisreportconductsaliteraturereviewonrelevantresearcharticlesandstudiesrelatedtothetopic.Thesourcesincludeacademicpapers,journals,andbooksfromreputabledatabaseslikeJSTORandGoogleScholar.TheselectedstudiesemphasizethecorrelationbetweenlisteninganxietyandlisteningperformancespecificallyamongEnglishmajorstudents. Findings: 1.DefinitionandCharacteristicsofListeningAnxiety: Listeninganxietyreferstothefear,tension,oruneaseexperiencedbyindividualswhenlisteningtospokenlanguage,particularlyinasecondlanguagecontext.Itisoftenassociatedwithnegativethoughts,self-doubt,andfearoffailure.Englishmajorstudents,duetotheirlanguagelearninggoalsandacademicexpectations,mayexperiencehigherlevelsoflisteninganxiety. 2.ImpactofListeningAnxietyonListeningPerformance: Severalstudiessuggestanegativecorrelationbetweenlisteninganxietyandlisteningperformance.Whenstudentsareanxious,theymayexperiencedifficultiesconcentrating,understanding,andretaininginformation.Anxietycanalsohindertheirabilitytoutilizeappropriatelisteningstrategies.Thus,performanceinlisteningtasks,suchascomprehensionandrecall,maybenegativelyaffected. 3.FactorsContributingtoListeningAnxiety: VariousfactorscontributetolisteninganxietyamongEnglishmajorstudents.Theseincludethefearofnotunderstandingormisunderstanding,unfamiliaraccents,fastspeechrate,lackofvocabulary,lackofconfidence,andevaluationanxiety.Thelearningenvironment,teachingmethods,andassessmentstrategiescanalsoinfluencestudents'anxietylevels. 4.Str
