ResearchQuestions: 1.HowdoesthevocabularyrichnessinwritingbyChineseEnglishmajorstudentscomparetothatofnativeEnglishspeakers? 2.WhatfactorsmaycontributetothedifferencesinvocabularyrichnessbetweenChineseEnglishmajorstudentsandnativeEnglishspeakers? Methodology: Thisstudywillemployamixedresearchmethod,includingbothquantitativeandqualitativeanalysis.AcomparisoncorpusofwrittentextsbyChineseEnglishmajorstudentsandnativeEnglishspeakerswillbecollectedandanalyzedusingsoftwaretools,suchasAntWordProfiler,toextractandmeasurethevocabularyrichness.Theanalysiswillfocusonthefrequencyofwords,lexicaldiversity,varietyofwordtypes,andrangeofvocabularyusedinthetexts.Inaddition,interviewswithasmallsampleofChineseEnglishmajorstudentswillbeconductedtogaininsightsintotheirvocabularylearningstrategies,experiences,andperceptions.ThedatacollectedfrombothsourceswillbetriangulatedtoprovideacomprehensiveunderstandingofthefactorsthatmayinfluencethevocabularyrichnessinwritingbyChineseEnglishmajorstudents. ExpectedOutcomes: ThestudyexpectstorevealthedifferencesinvocabularyrichnessinwritingbyChineseEnglishmajorstudentsandnativeEnglishspeakers.Basedonthedataanalysisandinterviews,thestudymayhighlightthefactorsthatcontributetothedifferences,suchastheuseofvocabularylearningstrategies,languageenvironment,andculturalbackgroun
