BackgroundandSignificance Inrecentyears,theroleofcorrectivefeedbackinlanguagelearninghasbecomethesubjectofgrowingattentionandresearch.WhilesomearguethatCFmayinterferewithstudents'creativedevelopment,otherssuggestthatitisessentialforlanguageacquisition.Languageteachersneedtoapplyappropriatetechniquestoprovidetimelyandeffectivecorrectivefeedbackthatisbeneficialforlearners'languageacquisition. ResearchQuestions Thefollowingarethekeyresearchquestionsofthisstudy: 1)Whattypeofcorrectivefeedbackismosteffectiveinassistinguniversity-levelL2learnerstoimprovetheirlanguageproficiency? 2)WhataretheattitudesofL2teachersregardingcorrectivefeedback,andhowdotheyimplementcorrectivefeedbacktechniquesintheclassroom? 3)HowdoescorrectivefeedbackaffectL2learnermotivationandengagementintheclassroom? Methodology Toinvestigatetheresearchquestions,thisstudywillemployaqualitativeresearchapproach.Datawillbecollectedthroughclassroomobservations,semi-structuredinterviews,andsurveysofbothL2studentsandteachers.Apurposivesamplingtechniquewillbeemployedtoselectparticipantsfromvariousuniversities. DataAnalysis Thestudywillusethematicanalysistoanalyzecollecteddatafromsemi-structuredinterviews,classroomobservations,andquestionnaires.Themeswillbeidentified,anddatawillbeanalyzedtofindrelationshipsandpatternsbetweenthethemes.
