Researchquestion TheresearchquestionforthisstudyiswhatfactorscontributetothedeclineinmotivationtostudyEnglishamongartcollegestudents? Researchmethod Thisstudyusesamixed-methodapproach,includingasurveyandinterviews.Thesurveyaimstogatherquantitativedataabouttheextentoftheproblemandthefactorsthatcontributetostudents'motivationtostudyEnglish.Thesurveywasdistributedto200studentsatthecollege.Theinterviewwillbeconductedwithtenstudentstogetin-depthqualitativedataabouttheirexperiencesofstudyingEnglishandthefactorsthatimpacttheirmotivation. Currentprogress Thesurveyhasbeendistributedtoalltheparticipants,andthedatacollectionprocessiscompleted.Thedataiscurrentlybeinganalyzedusingdescriptivestatisticstoassesstherespondents'demographicbackgroundandattitudestowardsEnglishlanguagelearning.Theresponserateforthesurveywas85%,whichisconsideredadequatefortheresearch.Theinterviewdatacollectionprocesshasnotyetstarted.
