B.LiteratureReview Theperspectiveofconformism,proposedbyQianDuoxiu,assertsthatthetranslationshouldconformtothenormsandconventionsofthetargetlanguageandculture.Itemphasizesthatthepurposeoftranslationistoconveythesourcetextmeaningaccurately,smoothlyandnaturallyinthetargetlanguage.Researchersandtranslatorshaveappliedthisperspectivetovariousfields,includinggovernmentwebsitenews.However,fewstudieshavefocusedontheapplicationofconformismintheEnglishtranslationofgovernmentwebsitenewsinChina. C.ResearchMethodology Thisreportadoptsaqualitativeresearchmethodology,whichincludesanalysisof100newsarticlesselectedrandomlyfromAnhuiProvincialGovernmentWebsite.Theanalysisfocusesonthreeaspects:accuracy,fluencyandculturalconformity.ThreetranslatorswithprofessionaltranslationexperiencewereinvitedtoassesstheEnglishtranslationqualityoftheselectednewsarticlesbasedonthesethreeaspects. D.Results TheanalysisindicatesthattheaccuracyoftheEnglishtranslationofgovernmentwebsitenewshasimprovedcomparedwiththepreviousresearch.Theaveragescoreofaccuracyis8.6outof10.However,thefluencyoftheEnglishtranslationstillneedstobestrengthened.Theaveragescoreoffluencyis6.8outof10.Intermsofculturalconformity,theEnglishtranslationisgenerallyconsistentwiththetargetlanguageandcultureintermsoftheuseof
