Objective: Thisstudyaimstoexplorethetranslationstrategiesoftouristattractionintroductionsbasedonthetheoryofgenreanalysis.ThroughanalyzingthegenericfeaturesofChineseandEnglishtouristattractionintroductions,thisstudyintendstofindouttheculturalandrhetoricaldifferencesbetweenthetwolanguagesandprovideeffectivetranslationsolutions. ResearchQuestions: 1.WhatarethegenericfeaturesofChineseandEnglishtouristattractionintroductions? 2.WhataretheculturalandrhetoricaldifferencesbetweenChineseandEnglishtouristattractionintroductions? 3.WhattranslationstrategiescanbesuggestedbasedongenreanalysistheoryfortranslatingtouristattractionintroductionsfromChineseintoEnglish? Methodology: Thisstudyadoptsaqualitativeresearchmethodandagenreanalysisapproach.AcorpusoftouristattractionintroductionsinChineseandEnglishwillbecollectedandanalyzedusingananalyticalframeworkthatcombinessystemic-functionallinguistics(SFL)andrhetoricalgenretheory(RGT). Significance: ThisstudymaycontributetothefieldoftranslationstudiesbyprovidingtranslationstrategiesfortranslatingtouristattractionintroductionsfromChineseintoEnglish.Additionally,itmayhelpenhancecross-culturalcommunicationinthecontextofthetourismindustry.Finally,thisstudymayprovidevaluableinsightsfortourismresearcherstoanalyzetherhetoricalfeaturesoftouristattractionintroductions.
