ResearchObjectives: 1.Toinvestigatethetranslationfeaturesandcharacteristicsoftourismintroduction. 2.Toanalyzethetranslationmethodsandstrategiesoftourismintroductionfromtheperspectiveoffunctionaltranslationtheory. 3.ToexploretheeffectivenessofdifferenttranslationmethodsandstrategiesinpromotingtourismindustryofZhejiangProvince. Methodology: Thisstudyadoptsadescriptiveandqualitativeresearchdesign.ThedatawascollectedfromofficialwebsitesoftouristattractionsinZhejiangProvince,includingHangzhouWestLake,WuzhenWaterTown,andXitangAncientTown.Thetextcorpuswasanalyzedusingthefunctionaltranslationtheoryandthetranslationmethodsandstrategieswereidentifiedanddiscussed. Results: 1.Thetranslationoftourismintroductionhasdistinctivefeaturesandcharacteristics,suchasthecombinationofinformativeandpromotionalfunctions,theemphasisonculturalandhistoricalheritage,andtheuseofpersuasivelanguage. 2.Thetranslationmethodsandstrategiesintourismintroductionincludedomestication,foreignization,transcreation,andlocalization.Eachmethodhasitsownadvantagesanddisadvantagesintermsofpromotingtourismindustry. 3.Theeffectivenessoftourismintroductiontranslationdependsonthetargetaudience,purpose,andculturalbackground.Therefore,itisnecessarytoselectappropriatetranslationmethodsandstrategiesbasedonthesefactors.
