Progress: Theresearchhasprogressedwellsofarandhasyieldedseveralsignificantfindings.Firstly,theanalysisofChinesemenushasrevealedtheimportanceofwordchoice,style,andstructureinconveyingtheaestheticfeaturesofChinesecuisine,suchastheuseofcolor,texture,andflavor.Secondly,thestudyofEnglishtranslationshasidentifiedseveralcommonchallengesfacedbytranslators,suchasthedifficultyoffindingequivalentsforculturallyspecifictermsandtheneedtobalanceaccuracywithreadability.Finally,theresearchhasbeguntodevelopasetofguidingprinciplesforEnglishtranslation,emphasizingtheneedforadeepunderstandingofboththesourceandtargetculturesandtheimportanceofcreativityandadaptabilityinachievingaestheticequivalence.
