高职学生英语词汇学习策略培训研究的综述报告 Abstract: ThelearningofEnglishvocabularyisanintegralpartofEnglishlearning.Asvocationalstudentsincollege,theyarerequiredtocommunicatewithpeoplefromdifferentbackgroundsaftergraduation,therefore,theymusthaveagoodcommandofEnglishvocabulary.However,manyvocationalstudentslackeffectivelearningstrategiesforEnglishvocabulary.ThisreviewarticlesummarizestheexistingresearchonEnglishvocabularylearningstrategiesforvocationalstudents,providesanoverviewofthecurrentsituationofvocationalcollegestudents'Englishvocabularylearning,andproposeseffectivevocabularylearningstrategiesforvocationalcollegestudents. Introduction: AsChina'seconomyandinternationalstatuscontinuetorise,Englisheducationhasbecomeanessentialpartofvocationalcollegestudents'education.However,Englishvocabularylearningisstillabigchallengeformanystudents.ThecorepurposeofEnglishvocabularylearningistopromotethemasteryofbasicEnglishskillsandenablestudentstouseEnglisheffectively,makingEnglishvocabularylearningavitalaspectofEnglishlearningininstitutionsofhighereducation. CurrentSituationofEnglishVocabularyLearningamongVocationalCollegeStudents: ManyvocationalstudentslackthemotivationandinterestinlearningEnglishvocabulary,astheybelievethatithaslittlepracticalvalueintheirfuturecareer.Furthermore,mostvocationalcollegestudentsareundertremendouspressuretocompletecoursework,participateinextracurricularactivities,andsecureemploymentaftergraduation,whichleaveslittletimeforconsistentandeffectiveEnglishvocabularylearning.Thus,manystudentsarenotabletomemorizeanduseEnglishvocabularyonalong-termbasis.
