基于FVCOM的廉州湾及周边海域三维潮汐潮流数值模拟(英文) Title:Three-DimensionalTidalCurrentNumericalSimulationBasedonFVCOMinLianzhouBayandItsSurroundingWaters Abstract: InordertostudythetidalcurrentcharacteristicsinLianzhouBayanditssurroundingwaters,athree-dimensionalnumericalsimulationmodelbasedontheFiniteVolumeCoastalOceanModel(FVCOM)wasestablished.Themodelwasvalidatedthroughcomparisonwithmeasureddataatvarioustidalstages.Then,thetemporalandspatialdistributionoftidalcurrentsinthestudyareawereanalyzed.Theresultsshowedthatthetidalcurrentintensityinthebaywaslargerthanthatinthesurroundingwaters.Themaximumtidalcurrentspeedoccurredattheeasternandwesternentrancesofthebay.Thetidalcurrentdirectioninthebaywasinfluencedbythetopographyofthebay,andthemajorflowdirectionwasconsistentwiththedirectionofthecoast.Thetidalconditionsinthestudyareashowedsignificantspatialandtemporalvariations,andthetidalrangeincreasedfromthewesttotheeast. Introduction: Tidalcurrentsareanimportantoceandynamicphenomenonthatplaysacrucialroleinthetransportofnutrients,sediments,andpollutantsincoastalwaters.LianzhouBayisanimportantshallowbaylocatedinthenortheasterncoastoftheSouthChinaSea,whichhasgreatecologicalvalueandsignificanteconomicsignificance.UnderstandingthecharacteristicsoftidalcurrentsinLianzhouBayanditssurroundingwatersisessentialforthesustainableutilizationandprotectionofcoastalresources. Methodology: Inthisstudy,athree-dimensionalnumericalmodelbasedonFVCOMwasestablishedtosimulatethetidalcurrentsinLianzhouBayanditssurroundingwaters.FVCOMisafinite-volumebasedunstructuredgridoceanmodelthathasbeenwidelyusedinmanycoastalandoceanographicstudies.Inthismodel,thehydrodynamicsofthestudyareaweredescribedbytheNavier-Stokesequations,andtheboundaryconditionsweresetaccordingtotheprescribedtidalharmonicconstants.ThebathymetricinformationwasobtainedfromtheGEBCOdataset,andtheunstructuredtriangulargridwasgeneratedusingtheDelaunaytriangulationalgorithm.
