Toaddressthisissue,organizationsshouldinvestinadvancedmeteringinfrastructure(AMI)technologies.Thesetechnologiesenablereal-timedatacollectionandmonitoring,providingorganizationswithaccurateandup-to-dateinformationonenergyconsumption.Additionally,implementingautomateddatavalidationandqualitycontrolmeasurescanhelpensuretheaccuracyandreliabilityofthecollecteddata. 2.Inconsistentandnon-standardizeddatareporting: Energymeteringdataisoftenreportedindifferentformatsandunits,makingitchallengingtocompareandanalyzetheenergyperformanceofdifferententities.Thislackofstandardizationhampersthebenchmarkingandidentificationofbestpractices,hinderingtheeffectivemanagementofenergyconsumption.
