Methodology: Amixed-methodapproachwillbeadoptedforthisstudy,whichwillincludebothquantitativeandqualitativedatacollection.Aquestionnairesurveywillbeemployedtogatherquantitativedatafromasampleofjuniorhighschoolstudents.Thequestionnairewillassesstheirlevelofmotivation,self-efficacy,self-regulation,andresourceutilizationinEnglishlearning.Additionally,in-depthinterviewswillbeconductedwithselectparticipantstoobtainqualitativeinsightsintotheirlearningexperiencesandchallenges. ResultsandDiscussion: Thepreliminaryanalysisofthecollecteddatarevealsthefollowingfindings: 1.Motivation:ThemajorityofjuniorhighschoolstudentsdisplayamoderatelevelofmotivationtowardsEnglishlearning.Whilesomestudentsareintrinsicallymotivated,manyotherslackthemotivationduetovariousreasonssuchasaperceivedlackofrelevanceorinherentdifficultyofthelanguage. 2.Self-efficacy:Overall,juniorhighschoolstudentshaveamoderatelevelofconfidenceintheirabilitytolearnEnglishindependently.However,thereisasubsetofstudentswholackself-efficacy,oftenduetoafearofmakingmistakesornegativepastexperiences. 3.Self-regulation:Juniorhighschoolstudentspossesslimitedself-regulationskillsinEnglishlearning.Manystudentsstrugglewithtimemanagement,goalsetting,andmonitoringtheirownlearningprogress.Theyrequireguidanceandsupporttodevelopthesecrucialskills. 4.Resourceutilization:StudentshaveaccesstoawiderangeofresourcesforEnglishlearning,includingtext
