Abstract:
FinancialexclusioninruralareashasbeenapersistentissueinChina,leadingtoeconomicdisparitiesandhinderingsocialdevelopment.ThispaperaimstoprovideanempiricalanalysisofthefactorsinfluencingfinancialexclusioninruralChinafromaconditionalexclusionperspective.Thestudyutilizesbothqualitativeandquantitativedatatoidentifythekeyfactorsaffectingfinancialexclusionandexplorespotentialstrategiestomitigatetheseissues.
Introduction:
Financialinclusionplaysacrucialroleinpromotingeconomicgrowthandreducingpoverty.However,ruralareasinChinacontinuetofacesignificantchallengesinaccessingfinancialservices,resultinginfinancialexclusion.UnderstandingtheunderlyingfactorsinfluencingfinancialexclusioniscrucialforformulatingeffectivepoliciestopromotefinancialinclusionandmitigateeconomicdisparitiesinruralChina.Thisstudyadoptsaconditionalexclusionperspectivetoidentifyandanalyzethesefactors.
Methodology:
Thisstudyadoptsamixed-methodresearchapproach,combiningquantitativeanalysiswithqualitativeinsights.Inthequantitativeanalysis,acomprehensivedatasetcomprisingofruralhouseholds'financialinclusionstatusandsocio-economicindicatorswillbecollected.Thecoreanalysiswillbeconductedthroughregressionanalysis,investigatingtherelationshipsbetweenvariousfactorsandfinancialinclusion.Inthequalitativeanalysis,in-depthinterviewswillbeconductedwithkeystakeholders,includingruralhouseholds,financialinstitutions,governmentofficials,andNGOrepresentatives.Thequalitativedatawillbecodedandanalyzedthematically,providingadditionalinsightsintothefactorsinfluencingfinancialexclusion.
ResultsandDiscussion:
TheempiricalanalysisrevealsseveralsignificantfactorsinfluencingfinancialexclusioninruralChina.Thesefactorscanbebroadlycategorizedintodemand-sideandsupply-sidefactors.
