运用语块教学法来提高英语写作能力的实验研究 Introduction Languageisthefoundationofhumancommunicationandthekeytosocialinteraction.Englishisoneofthemostwidely-usedlanguagesintheworld,anditsapplicationandimportanceareincreasingdaybyday.However,masteringEnglishisnotaneasytask,especiallyfornon-nativespeakers,theymayfacemanydifficulties,includingreading,writing,listening,andspeaking.Amongthesechallenges,writingisoneofthemostimportantaspectsofEnglishlearningasitisthemediumforrecordingandconveyinginformation.Therefore,inthispaper,wewilldiscusstheexperimentalresearchontheuseoflanguagechunkteachingmethodstoimproveEnglishwritingability. Body LanguagechunkisagroupofwordsthatarefrequentlyusedinspokenandwrittenEnglish.Languagechunksaredifferentfromindividualwords,astheyaremadeupofwordsthathaveaspecificmeaningwhenusedtogether.UsinglanguagechunkscanhelpimprovethefluencyandaccuracyofspokenandwrittenEnglishbecausetheymakeiteasierforlanguagelearnerstoexpressthemselves.Thebenefitsofusinglanguagechunksarenotlimitedtonon-nativespeakers,asnativespeakersalsobenefitfromtheuseofthesechunksintheirwritingskills. Theexperimentalresearchconductedinthisstudyaimedtoinvestigatetheeffectsofteachinglanguagechunksonthewritingabilityofnon-nativeEnglishspeakers.Theresearchwascarriedoutforoverthreemonths,involvingtwodifferentgroupsofstudents.Thefirstgroupwastaughtusingthetraditionalteachingmethodofwritingthroughgrammarlessons,whilethesecondgroupwastaughtusingthelanguagechunksteachingmethod.Attheendoftheexperiment,thewritingabilityofbothgroupswasevaluatedandcompared. Resultsshowedthatthegroupthatwastaughtusingthelanguagechunksmethoddemonstratedsignificantimprovementintheirwritingabilitycomparedtothegroupthatwastaughtbythetraditionalgrammarmethod.Thelanguagechunkteachingmethodenhancedthestudents'abilitytousedifferentsentencestructuresandphrasesthatarewidelyusedintheEnglishlanguage.Themethodalsoallowedstudentstolearnhowwordsworktogether,andtheywerebetterabletounderstandhowtousethesewordstocreatemeaningfulsentences.
