PurposeofNSSE TheNSSEsurveyisdesignedtoassessthelevelofstudentengagementinauniversityorcollege.Studentengagementreferstothetimeandeffortthatstudentsdedicatetoeducationalactivitiesbothinsideandoutsidetheclassroom.Thesurveyassessesfivekeyareasofstudentengagement:levelofacademicchallenge,activeandcollaborativelearning,student-facultyinteraction,enrichingeducationalexperiences,andsupportivecampusenvironment.
