基于口笔语语料库的中国英语学习者词块习得研究 Abstract ThisresearchpaperaimstoinvestigatetheacquisitionofcollocationsbyChineseEnglishlearnersbasedonspokencorpusdata.Thepaperdiscussestheimportanceofcollocationsinlanguagelearning,discussespreviousstudiesoncollocationacquisition,outlinesthemethodologyofthepresentstudy,andpresentstheresultsoftheanalysisofthespokencorpusdata.ThefindingssuggestthatChineseEnglishlearnersdemonstrateconsiderabledifficultyinacquiringcollocationsandrequireexplicitinstructionandpracticetoimprovetheircollocationuse. Introduction Collocationsareanessentialcomponentoflanguageproficiency.Theyarewordsthattypicallyoccurtogetherandformameaningfulexpressionwithinagivenlanguage.Theuseofcollocationsenhancescommunicationcompetenceandisvitalforeffectivelanguagelearningandteaching(Baker,2017).Therefore,acquiringappropriateandnaturalcollocationsisimportantforsecondlanguagelearners.ThepresentstudyaimstoinvestigatetheacquisitionofcollocationsbyChineseEnglishlearnersbasedonspokencorpusdata. LiteratureReview Previousstudieshaveshownthatcollocationacquisitionisdifficultfornon-nativespeakers,particularlythosewhohavelearnedEnglishasasecondorforeignlanguage.Researchhasdemonstratedthatlearnersoftenexperiencechallengessuchasguessing,overgeneralization,andunderuseofcollocations(Siyanova&Schmitt,2007).Additionally,ChineselearnersofEnglishfaceadditionaldifficulties,suchasinterferencefromtheirnativelanguage,whichdoesnotcontainsimilarcollocationsordoesnotusetheminthesamewayasEnglish(Erman&Warren,2000). Severalfactorsaffectcollocationacquisition,suchaslanguageproficiency,frequencyofuse,andcontextofuse.Languageproficiencyisimportantbecauselearnersatdifferentlevelsdemonstratedifferentdegreesofawarenessofcollocations(Hsu,2015).Also,frequencyofuseandcontextofuseinfluencecollocationacquisitionbecauselearnersacquirecollocationsthataremostfrequentlyusedinnaturalcontexts(Nakata&Tsutsui,2017).
