I.ClassicIterativeMethods: ClassiciterativemethodsliketheFixed-PointIterationandNewton'sMethodcanbeemployedtoapproximatefixedpointsofdifferenttypesofmaps.Thesemethodsstartwithaninitialguessanditerativelyrefineituntilasatisfactoryapproximationtothefixedpointisobtained.Wewilldiscusstheconvergencepropertiesofthesemethodsandpresentillustrativeexamples.
