NegativeTransferPhenomenon Mothertonguenegativetransferreferstotheinterferenceofthemothertongueintheacquisitionandproductionofasecondlanguage.InthecontextofEnglishwriting,thistransferoccurswhenstudentsapplythegrammar,syntax,andvocabularyrulesoftheirnativelanguagetoEnglishwriting,leadingtoerrorsandinaccuracies.Forexample,Chinesestudentsmightstrugglewithwordorder,verbtenses,andpluralformsduetodifferencesbetweenEnglishandChinesegrammar.
