ThispaperaimstoinvestigatethecurrentsituationofproblematicbehaviorsinhighschoolEnglishclassesandproposeeffectivecountermeasures.ThestudyfocusesonthreehighschoolsinGuilin,examiningthevariousissuesfacedbybothstudentsandteachersintheEnglishclassroom.Theresearchmethodsincludequestionnaires,interviews,andclassroomobservations.Thefindingssuggestthatproblematicbehaviorssuchaslackofmotivation,lowparticipation,distraction,anddisrespectfulbehaviorhindereffectivelearningandteaching.Toaddresstheseissues,itisnecessarytoimplementstudent-centeredteachingapproaches,enhanceclassroommanagement,promotestudentengagement,andfosterapositivelearningenvironment.

HighschoolEnglishclassroomsinGuilinfacenumerouschallengesduetotheprevalenceofproblematicbehaviorsamongstudents.Thesebehaviorscansignificantlyimpactthelearningoutcomesandoverallclassroomenvironment.

TheobjectiveofthisstudyistoinvestigatethecurrentsituationofproblematicbehaviorsinhighschoolEnglishclassesinGuilinandproposeeffectivecountermeasurestoaddresstheseissues.

ThestudyinvolvedthreehighschoolsinGuilin,withatotalof300studentsand15Englishteachersparticipating.
