LiteratureReview 1.DefinitionofInterculturalCommunicationCompetence Interculturalcommunicationcompetencereferstotheabilitytointeracteffectivelyandappropriatelywithindividualsfromdifferentculturalbackgrounds.Itinvolvesunderstandingandrespectingculturaldifferences,adaptingone'scommunicationstyle,andresolvingconflictsininterculturalencounters. 2.ImportanceofInterculturalCommunicationCompetenceinEducation Inaneducationalcontext,interculturalcommunicationcompetencehelpseducatorseffectivelyteachstudentsfromdifferentculturalbackgrounds.Itpromotesinclusiveandmulticulturallearningenvironmentsandenhancesstudents'academicandpersonalgrowth. Methodology 1.Participants TheparticipantsofthisstudywillbeEnglisheducationmaster'sstudentsatCentralChinaNormalUniversity.Asampleofapproximately100studentswillbeselectedusingarandomsamplingtechnique. 2.ResearchInstrument Aquestionnairewillbedesignedtocollectdataontheparticipants'interculturalcommunicationcompetence.Thequestionnairewillconsistofbothclosed-endedandopen-endedquestions,coveringtopicssuchasculturalknowledge,communicationskills,attitudetowardsculturaldifferences,andexperiencesininterculturalcommunication. 3.DataCollection Thequestionnairewillbedistributedelectronicallytotheparticipants.Theywillbegivenaspecificdeadlinetocompleteandsubmittheirresponses.Datawillbecollectedandanalyzedusingquantitativeandqualitativemethods.
