Methodology TodesignacoursethatmeetsthespecificneedsofGTISstudents,theresearcherconductedaseriesofresearchactivities.Firstly,aquestionnairewasdistributedamongthetargetstudentstogatherinformationabouttheirEnglishlevels,theirfuturejobprospects,theircurrentEnglishcourse,andtheirattitudestowardsEnglishlearning.Secondly,interviewswereconductedamongtheGTISfacultymemberstounderstandtheirexpectationaboutwhatkindofEnglishcompetenceshouldbeemphasizedinthefuturetrainingofthestudents.Thirdly,acorpus-basedstudywasconductedtoidentifythemostfrequentlyusedEnglishwords,phrases,andpatternsinthetextileindustry. ResultsofNeedsAnalysis Accordingtotheresultsofthequestionnaire,themajorityofGTISstudentshaveamoderatelevelofEnglishproficiency,buttheylackconfidenceinusingEnglish.TheyexpressedastrongneedtoimprovetheirEnglishskillsinlistening,speaking,reading,andwriting.ThefutureemploymentprospecthasbeenidentifiedasamajordriverforEnglishlearning.Manystudentsplantoworkininternationalcompaniesorfactories,andtheyunderstandthatEnglishproficiencyiscriticalfortheirsuccess.ThecurrentEnglishcourseatGTISismainlyfocusedonthetrainingofEnglishgrammarandvocabulary,andthereisalackofpracticalapplicationsofEnglishinthetextileindustry. Theinterviewswiththefacultymemberssuggestthatthefuturetrainingofthestudentsshouldemphasizethecommunicationskillsinthetextileindustry,includingtheabilityt
