英语课堂教师语码转换的顺应性研究的综述报告 Introduction Englishlanguageclassroomsaredynamicandrichenvironmentsthatrequireteacherstohaveawiderangeofknowledge,skills,andcompetenciestobeabletodelivereffectiveinstructiontotheirstudents.Amongthesecompetenciesistheabilitytoswitchbetweenvariouslanguagecodestoaccommodatedifferentclassroomsituationsandmeettheneedsofdiverselearners.Thisstudyprovidesacomprehensivereviewofexistingresearchoncode-switchinginEnglishlanguageteaching(ELT)contexts,withaspecificfocusonthefactorsthatinfluencetheappropriatenessandeffectivenessofcode-switchinginclassroomcommunication. Background Code-switchingisacommonphenomenoninmultilingualsettings.Itinvolvesthealternationbetweentwoormorelanguagesorlanguagevarietieswithinasinglediscourseorconversation.InELTcontext,teacherscanusecode-switchingtofacilitatelearning,provideclarity,andbuildrapportwithlearnersfromdifferentlinguisticbackgrounds.Code-switchingcanalsobeusedtohighlightspecificfeaturesofthetargetlanguage,expandstudents’lexicalandsyntacticknowledge,andenhancelearnerengagementandparticipation. Therearetwomaintypesofcode-switchinginELT:intra-sententialandinter-sentential.Intra-sententialcode-switchingoccurswhenateacherswitchesbetweenlanguageswithinthesamesentenceorclause,whileinter-sententialcode-switchinginvolvesswitchinglanguagesbetweentwoormoresentencesordiscourseunits.Bothtypesofcode-switchingcanservedifferentpurposesandcanbeinfluencedbyvariousfactorssuchasthelanguageproficiencyoftheteacherandlearners,thesocioculturalnormsoftheclassroomsetting,andtheinstructionalobjectivesandgoals. LiteratureReview Severalstudieshavebeenconductedontheuseofcode-switchinginELTcontexts.Mostofthesestudieshavefocusedonthestrategiesandtechniquesusedbyteacherstocode-switch,thebenefitsandchallengesofcode-switching,andtheperceptionsandattitudesofteachersandlearnerstowardscode-switching. Oneofthemostconsistentfindingsintheliteratureisthattheeffectivenessofcode-switchinginELTdependsontheappropriatenessandtimingoftheswitch.Forinstance,astudybyL
