LanguageLearningAttitudesandBeliefsamongHigh-ScoringStudents Studieshaveshownthathigh-scoringstudentsinEnglishmajorprogramsoftendisplaypositivelanguagelearningattitudesandbeliefs.Forexample,manyhigh-scoringstudentshaveastrongmotivationtolearnEnglish,whichisoftenlinkedtotheircareeraspirationsordesiretostudyabroad.Inaddition,manyhigh-scoringstudentsbelievethatregularpracticeandexposuretoEnglishareessentialtolanguageproficiency,andtheyaremorelikelytoengageinactivitiessuchaswatchingEnglishlanguagemoviesandTVshows,readingEnglishliterature,andparticipatinginEnglishlanguageclubsandactivities.
