Methodology Thisstudyemployedamixed-methodsapproach,includingaquantitativesurveyandqualitativeinterviews.ThesurveywasconductedtocollectdataontheEnglishlearningmotivationsofvocationalstudentsinaselectedvocationalcollegeinChina.ThesurveyquestionnairewasdesignedbasedontheMotivatedStrategiesforLearningQuestionnaire(MSLQ),whichmeasuresmotivationandcognitivestrategiesforknowledgeacquisition.Inaddition,semi-structuredinterviewswereconductedtogainadeeperunderstandingofthefactorsinfluencingthestudents'Englishlearningmotivationsandtoexploreeffectivemotivationstrategies. DataAnalysis Thesurveydatawereanalyzedusingdescriptivestatisticsandcorrelationanalysistoexaminetherelationshipsbetweenvariables.Theinterviewdataweretranscribedandanalyzedusingthematicanalysistoidentifycommonthemesandpatterns.
