ResearchQuestions 1.WhataretheEnglishlearningmotivationsofvocationalstudents? 2.WhatfactorsinfluencetheEnglishlearningmotivationsofvocationalstudents? 3.WhatarethemosteffectivemotivationstrategiesforvocationalstudentsinEnglishlearning? Methodology Thisstudyemployedamixed-methodsapproach,includingaquantitativesurveyandqualitativeinterviews.ThesurveywasconductedtocollectdataontheEnglishlearningmotivationsofvocationalstudentsinaselectedvocationalcollegeinChina.ThesurveyquestionnairewasdesignedbasedontheMotivatedStrategiesforLearningQuestionnaire(MSLQ),whichmeasuresmotivationandcognitivestrategiesforknowledgeacquisition.Inaddition,semi-structuredinterviewswereconductedtogainadeeperunderstandingofthefactorsinfluencingthestudents'Englishlearningmotivationsandtoexploreeffectivemotivationstrategies. DataAnalysis Thesurveydatawereanalyzedusingdescriptivestatisticsandcorrelationanalysistoexaminetherelationshipsbetweenvariables.Theinterviewdataweretranscribedandanalyzedusingthematicanalysistoidentifycommonthemesandpatterns. PreliminaryResults Preliminarydataanalysisshowsthatvocationalstudents'Englishlearningmotivationsaremainlyextrinsicratherthanintrinsic.Themostsignificantmotivationfactorsarefuturecareerprospects,academicrequirements,andclassgrades.Inaddition,students'Englishlearningmotivationsareinfluencedbyvariousfactors,suchastheirself-efficacy,perceivedtaskvalue,andteachersupport.Asforeffectivemotivationstrategies,thestudentshighlightedtheimportanceofpracticalandrelevantlearningmaterials,interactiveteachingmethods,andfeedbackandre
