PCBLayoutdesignConsideration ThePCBwasdesignedwithanattempttokeeptheEMInoisetoaminimumandtokeeptheEMIsourcesfromaffectingtheoperationofthemicroprocessorandothercomponents.ThenoisiestpartsofthecircuitweredeterminedtobethetwoPowersupplies,onefortheMicrocontrollerandsensors,theotherforthemotorsandtheservos.Thesewereplacedontwocornersoftheboardasfarawayfromthemicrocontrollerandtherestofthedigitalcircuitry.Thetwopowersuppliesshareacommonground.Thepowerandgroundlinesfromthepowersuppliesareplacedonseparatelayers,withthegroundloopplacesonthetoplayer,andthepowerlooponthebottomlayer[1].Inordertopreventthenoiseproducedbytheothercomponentsontheboardfromaffectingthemicrocontroller,theMCUwasgivenadedicatedpowerandgroundline,separatefromthelinesprovingpowertotheexternalsensorsandcomponents.Thishel
