Abstract

Thetopicofthisprojectisadesignoftransmissionsforamedium-sizetruck.
Theadoptionofsuitabledesignsandlayoutenablestheeffectiveutilizationofengine
toimprovethetruck'smotilityandeconomy.Thedesignwasreferredtoparametersof
BeijingFotontruckandrelevantbooks.Viaacomprehensivedemonstration,thedata
wascollectedfromvariouscomponentsofthetransmissionwhichweremodeledby
Solidworks.Thetransmissionisafive-speedtransmission,includingfiveforward
gearsandonereversegear,applyingadvancedmonolithicstructureofthe
intermediateshaftandtheshiftlockring-typesynchronizer.Thegearboxpossessesa
compactstructure,asmallsize,hightransmissionefficiency,andalargerratiorange,
withgoodeconomyanddynamicperformance.

1.Introduction
Theroleoftransmission:
Transmissionchangesthespeedoftheengineandexportsdifferentrotational
speed.Atlowrotationalspeed,hightorquecanbeobtained.Highspeedhasbetter
efficiencybutthetorqueislow.So,whenyoustartamachineyouneedtostartatlow
speedandafterrunningthenchangehighrotationalspeedmaintainingahigh
efficiency.
