Introduction: Languageacquisitionandliteracydevelopmentarecrucialaspectsofeducation,particularlyinthefieldofEnglishlanguageteaching.TheabilitytowriteeffectivelyinEnglishishighlyvaluedanddesired.WiththeincreasingdemandforEnglishlanguageproficiency,itisnecessarytoexploreeffectiveteachingapproachesthatcanenhancestudents'writingskills.ThispaperfocusesontheESAwritinginstructionalmodel,whichemphasizesengagement,systematicstudy,andlanguageactivation.TheaimofthisstudyistoinvestigatetheimpactoftheESAmodelonstudents'writingperformanceandmotivationinahighschoolEnglishclassroom.
