学习者英语学术写作报道据素使用特征研究 Title:FeaturesofLearnerAcademicWriting:AStudyonReportedUsageofSources Introduction: AcademicwritingisanessentialskillforlearnersofEnglishasasecondlanguage(ESL).Aslearnersengageinvariousacademictasks,itisimportanttounderstandthefeaturesthatcharacterizetheirwriting,particularlyinthecontextofsourceusage.Thispaperaimstoinvestigatethereportedusageofsourcesandthefeaturesobservedinlearneracademicwriting. 1.Background: 1.1Learners'Challenges: LearnersofEnglishoftenfacechallengeswhenitcomestounderstandingandusingsourceseffectivelyintheiracademicwriting.Thesechallengesmayincludedifficultiesinparaphrasing,incorporatingcitations,andavoidingplagiarism.Understandingthefeaturesoflearneracademicwritingcanhelpaddressthesechallenges. 1.2PreviousStudies: Severalstudieshavebeenconductedtoinvestigatethefeaturesoflearneracademicwriting.However,fewfocusspecificallyonreportedsourceusage.Thisstudyaimstobridgethisgapbyexamininghowlearnersusesourcesintheirwritingandthefeaturesassociatedwithsuchusage. 2.Methodology: 2.1Participants: ThestudyinvolvedagroupofESLstudentsfromauniversityenrolledinanacademicwritingcourse.Atotalof50studentsparticipatedinthestudy,ranginginproficiencylevelsfromintermediatetoadvanced. 2.2DataCollection: Theparticipantswereaskedtosubmittheiracademicessays,alongwithaself-reportquestionnaire.Theessayswereanalyzedusingqualitativeandquantitativemethodstoidentifythefeaturesrelatedtosourceusage.Thequestionnaireaimedtogatherinformationontheparticipants'perceptionsandexperiencesregardingsourceusageintheirwriting. 3.Findings: 3.1ReportedSourceUsage: Theanalysisrevealedthattheparticipantsinthisstudyfrequentlyusedsourcesintheiracademicwriting.Theyreportedrelyingonavarietyofsources,includingacademicjournals,books,andwebsites. 3.2FeaturesofLearnerAcademicWriting: Severalfeatureswereobservedinlearneracademicwritingrelatedtosourceusage,suchasparaphrasing,citationstyles,integrationofsources,andreferencing.Paraphrasingwasacommonlyusedstrategy,althoughlearnersoftenface
