TheoreticalFramework Religioustourismisamultifacetedphenomenonthatcanbeanalyzedfromvarioustheoreticalperspectives.Onepossibleframeworkissocialpsychology,whichemphasizestheroleofsocialandculturalfactorsinshapinghumanbehavior.Accordingtothisperspective,themotivesforreligioustourismarecloselylinkedtothesocialandculturalenvironmentinwhichtravelersareembedded.Inaddition,socialpsychologytheorysuggeststhatpeople'sbeliefsandattitudesareinfluencedbytheirsocialnetworks,culturaltraditions,andpersonalexperiences. Visitorbehaviorintentionsrefertothecognitiveandaffectiveprocessesthatinfluencevisitors'decisionstoengageinspecificbehaviorsduringtheirtrip.Suchbehaviorscanincludesightseeing,shopping,dining,andparticipatinginreligiousactivities.Visitormentalityreferstothepsychologicalstateofvisitors,includingtheiremotions,attitudes,andmotivations.Thisstudyproposesthatvisitormentalitymediatestherelationshipbetweenreligioustourismexperienceandvisitorbehaviorintentions. Methodology Totesttheproposedmodel,asurveywasconductedwithasampleofreligioustouristsinChina.Atotalof300questionnairesweredistributedtovisitorsatthreedifferentreligioussites.Respondentswereaskedtoratetheirreligioustourismexperiences,theirvisitormentality,andtheirbehaviorintentions.Thedatawereanalyzedusingstructuralequationmodeling(SEM)totestthehypothesizedrelationships.
