Introduction: ThePMSMiswidelyusedinvariousapplicationsduetoitshighefficiency,hightorquedensity,andsmallsize.Inmanycases,itisnecessarytocontrolthespeedandpositionofthePMSMaccurately.However,traditionalcontrolmethodsbasedoncurrentandvoltagefeedbackrequireadditionalsensors,whichincreasethesystemcostandcomplexity.Sensorlesscontrolmethodscanprovideacost-effectiveandefficientsolutionforPMSMcontrol.Varioussensorlesscontrolmethodshavebeenproposed,includingbackEMFestimation,model-basedobservers,andslidingmodeobservers.Inrecentyears,fractional-orderPLLshavealsobeenusedinsensorlessPMSMcontroltoimprovetheaccuracyofcurrentandvoltagemeasurements.Inthispaper,weproposeasensorlessPMSMvectorcontrolsystembasedonaslidingmodeobserverandafractional-orderPLL.
