Introduction: Withtherapiddevelopmentofwirelesscommunicationtechnology,thedemandforhigh-speedandefficientwirelessnetworkshasbecomeincreasinglyurgent.OFDMA(OrthogonalFrequencyDivisionMultipleAccess)isapopulartechnologythathasbeenwidelyusedinmobilecommunicationnetworks,Wi-Fi,andotherwirelesscommunicationsystems.OFDMAallowsmultipleuserstosharethesamechannelsimultaneouslyandcanprovidehighspectralefficiency,lowlatency,andhighthroughput. InanOFDMAsystem,therandomaccesschannel(RACH)isresponsibleforallocatingchannelstodifferentusers.Duetotherandomnessanduncertaintyofthesystemenvironment,theRACHallocationstrategyneedstobedynamicandflexible.Inthepast,traditionalBayesianalgorithmshavebeenusedtoallocatechannelsinOFDMAsystems.However,thesealgorithmshavesomelimitations,includinghighcomputationalcomplexityandhighsensitivitytoparametersettings. Toaddresstheseissues,thispaperproposesanewdynamicallocationstrategybasedonthepseudo-Bayesianalgorithm.Thepseudo-BayesianalgorithmisavariantofthestandardBayesianalgorithmthatintroducesanartificialpriorprobabilitydistributiontoavoidoverfitting.BycombiningtheadvantagesofthetraditionalBayesianalgorithmandthepseudo-Bayesianalgorithm,ourproposedstrategycanimprovethechannelutilizationrateandreducethedelayofthesystem.
