Methods: Toconductthisempiricalstudy,asampleofhighschoolEnglishclasseswasselected.Theparticipantsweredividedintotwogroups:theexperimentalgroupandthecontrolgroup.Bothgroupsreceivedvocabularyinstructionusingtraditionalmethods,buttheexperimentalgroupadditionallyreceivedtrainingintheresemblanceperspective.Preandpost-testswereadministeredtoevaluatetheparticipants'vocabularyknowledgeandretention. Results: Theresultsrevealedasignificantimprovementinvocabularyacquisitionfortheexperimentalgroupcomparedtothecontrolgroup.Theexperimentalgroupdemonstratedahigheraveragescoreonthepost-test,indicatingabetterunderstandingandretentionofthetaughtvocabulary.Thissupportsthehypothesisthatteachingvocabularyusingaresemblanceperspectivecanenhancestudents'learningoutcomes.
