应用英语专业《国际商法》课程教学改革初探 Introduction Internationaltradehaswitnessedunprecedentedgrowthinrecentdecades,andithasbecomeacrucialaspectoftheglobaleconomy.Thelegalframeworkthatgovernscross-bordertransactionsisknownasinternationalbusinesslaworinternationalcommerciallaw.Thisbodyoflawregulatestradebetweenindividualsandbusinessesfromdifferentcountries.ThestudyofinternationalbusinesslawisessentialforstudentspursuingadegreeinappliedEnglish,asavastmajorityofthemarelikelytoworkininternationaltradeortransnationalcompanies.ThispaperexaminestheneedforreformintheteachingofinternationalbusinesslawinappliedEnglishcourses. Currentteachingpractices Traditionally,theteachingofinternationalbusinesslawhasfollowedalecture-basedapproach,wheretheprofessorimpartsknowledgethroughlectures,readings,andassessments.Whilethisteachingmethodmayhavebeeneffectiveinthepast,ithasseveralshortcomingsinthecontextofinternationalbusinesslaw. Thefirstlimitationisthattraditionalteachingmethodsareoftennotinteractive,andstudentsmaystruggletounderstandcomplicatedlegalconceptspresentedinclass.Studentsmaynothavetheopportunitytoaskquestionsorclarifytheirdoubts,leadingtoalackofengagementwiththesubjectmatter.Furthermore,manystudentsmayfindthelanguageoflegaltextschallengingtounderstand,whichcouldhindertheirabilitytograspthematerial.
