Themodelwedevelopedisbasedonatypicalbusstationwithmultiplebusroutesandahighvolumeofpassengertraffic.Themodelsimulatesthemovementofpassengersfromarrivaltodeparture,includingqueuing,ticketing,boarding,anddisembarking.Thesimulationmodelalsoincludestheallocationofresources,suchasbuses,drivers,andticketbooths.Theoverallgoalofthesimulationistooptimizetheuseofresourceswhileminimizingpassengerwaitingtimeandmaximizingpassengersatisfaction. Thesimulationmodelcanbedividedintoseveralkeycomponents.Thefirstcomponentisthepassengerarrivalprocess,whichismodeledusingarandomdistributionfunctiontosimulatethearrivaltimeofpassengers.Thesecondcomponentisthequeuingprocess,whichmodelsthewaitingtimeandqueuelengthforpassengerstopurchasetickets.Thisprocessismodeledusingaqueuingsystemwithapriorityruletogiveprioritytopassengerswithurgentneeds.
