Introduction: Inrecentyears,therehasbeenincreasingrecognitionoftheimportanceofSTEMeducationindevelopingstudents'scientificliteracyandcriticalthinkingskills.Chemistry,beingacrucialscientificdiscipline,playsasignificantroleindevelopinganunderstandingofthenaturalworld.IncorporatingSTEMprinciplesinhighschoolchemistryeducationcanenhancestudents'learningexperiencesandmakethesubjectmoreengagingandrelevanttotheirlives.Therefore,thisstudyaimstoexplorethepracticalimplementationofSTEMeducationinhighschoolchemistryteaching. Methods: Toconductthisstudy,amixed-methodsapproachwasemployed,consistingofbothqualitativeandquantitativeresearchmethodologies.Theresearchparticipantswerehighschoolchemistryteachersandstudentsfromvariousschoolsindifferentregions.Thestudyinvolvedanalyzingexistingliterature,conductingsurveys,andobservingrealclassroompractices.
