英语应用能力认知对英语学习焦虑影响的实证研究 Abstract摘要 ThisempiricalstudyaimstoinvestigatetheimpactofEnglishlanguageapplicationabilitycognitiononEnglishlearninganxiety.Thesampleconsistsof200universitystudentsmajoringinEnglishinChina.Thedatawerecollectedusingtwoscales,theEnglishLanguageApplicationAbilityCognitionScale(ELAACS)andtheEnglishLearningAnxietyScale(ELAS).TheresultssuggestthatEnglishlanguageapplicationabilitycognitionhasasignificantnegativeeffectonEnglishlearninganxiety.Furthermore,severalsuggestionsareproposedbasedonthesefindingsforEnglishlanguagelearnersandteachers. TheconceptofEnglishapplicationabilitycognitionisintroducedtohelpstudentsacquirethenecessaryskillsinvolvedinlearningEnglish.ApplyingEnglishcognitiveskillscanhelpstudentsdevelopanunderstandingofthenuancesofEnglishlanguage,therebyenablingthemtospeakandwritefluentlywithconfidence.Therefore,thepurposeofthisstudyistoassesstherelationshipbetweenEnglishlanguageapplicationabilitycognitionandEnglishlearninganxietyamongChinesestudentsmajoringinEnglishlanguage.
