I.OverviewofCANBus: TheCANbusisarobust,serialcommunicationprotocolthatwasinitiallydevelopedbyBoschinthe1980sforautomotiveapplications.Itisdesignedtofacilitatereliablecommunicationbetweenvariouselectroniccontrolunits(ECUs)inadistributedcontrolsystem.Thebusisbasedonatwo-wiredifferentialtransmissionscheme,whichprovidesexcellentnoiseimmunity,errordetection,andfaulttolerancecapabilities.
