短碳纤维增强尼龙6复合材料的制备与研究(英文) PreparationandStudyofShortCarbonFiberReinforcedNylon6CompositeMaterials Introduction Inrecentyears,researchoncompositematerialshasbecomeincreasinglypopularduetotheirsuperiormechanicalpropertiescomparedtoconventionalmaterials.Amongthesecompositematerials,shortcarbonfiberreinforcedpolymercompositesarewidelyusedduetotheirhighstrength,stiffness,andlowweight.Inthisstudy,wefocusonthepreparationandcharacterizationofshortcarbonfiberreinforcednylon6compositematerials. MaterialsandMethods Shortcarbonfiberswithalengthof3mmanddiameterof10μmwereused.Thenylon6matrixwasobtainedfromacommercialsupplier.Thesampleswerepreparedusingatwin-screwextruderequippedwithafiberfeeder.Thefiberswereaddedtothenylon6matrixatvaryingweightpercentagesrangingfrom5%to20%inincrementsof5%.Thecompositeswerethencompressionmoldedintosheetsatatemperatureof230°Candpressureof15MPa. ResultsandDiscussion Themechanicalpropertiesofthecompositeswereevaluatedusingtensileandflexuraltests.Theresultsshowedthattheadditionofshortcarbonfibersincreasedthestrengthandstiffnessofthecomposites.Themodulusofelasticityincreasedfrom1.2GPaforpurenylon6to7.5GPafornylon6compositeswith20%weightpercentageofcarbonfibers.Thetensilestrengthofthecompositesalsoincreasedfrom60MPato180MPaforthesamecomposition. Themorphologyofthecompositeswasexaminedusingscanningelectronmicroscopy(SEM).TheSEMimagesshowedthatthecarbonfiberswerewelldispersedinthenylon6matrixatallweightpercentagestested.Theimagesalsoshowedthattheinterfacialadhesionbetweenthefibersandmatrixwasgood. Conclusion Inconclusion,shortcarbonfiberreinforcednylon6compositematerialsweresuccessfullypreparedandcharacterized.Theadditionofcarbonfibersimprovedthemechanicalpropertiesofthecomposites.TheSEMimagesconfirmedthatthefiberswerewelldispersedinthematrixandhadgoodinterfacialadhesion.Thesefindingssuggestthatshortcarbonfiberreinforcednylon6compositeshavegreatpotentialforvariousapplications,suchasintheautomotiveandaerospaceindustries.Futureworkcouldfocusonoptimizingthepro
