Introduction: Flameatomicemissionspectroscopyisawidelyusedtechniqueforthedeterminationoftraceelementsinvarioussamples.Tantalumpowderisavitalmaterialusedintheelectronicsindustryduetoitshigh-meltingpointandcorrosionresistance.However,thepresenceofimpurities,suchaspotassium,canaffectthepropertiesandqualityoftantalumpowder.Therefore,theaccuratedeterminationofpotassiumcontentintantalumpowderisofutmostimportance. ExperimentalProcedure: 1.Samplepreparation:Tantalumpowdersampleswerecollectedandpreparedforanalysis.Thesampleswerethoroughlydriedandcrushedtoafinepowderforhomogeneity. 2.Calibrationstandards:Aseriesofpotassiumstandardsolutionswerepreparedwithknownconcentrations.Thesesolutionswereusedtocreateacalibrationcurveforpotassiummeasurement. 3.Flameatomicemissionspectroscopy:Thepreparedsamplesandstandardswereintroducedintotheflameoftheatomicemissionspectrometer.Theinstrumentwasoptimizedfortemperaturecontrolandflamestability. 4.Dataanalysis:Theemissionintensitiesofpotassiumspectrallinesweremeasured,comparedtothecalibrationcurve,andtheconcentrationofpotassiumintheunknownsampleswasdetermined. ResultsandDiscussion: Thecalibrationcurveforpotassiumshowedalinearrelationshipbetweenemissionintensityandconcentration.ThelimitofdetectionwasdeterminedtobeXXμg/mL.Thepotassiumcontentinthetantalumpowdersamplesrangedfrom0.01%to0.5%.Theprecisionandaccuracyofthemethodwereassessedbyperformingreplicateanalyses,andtherelativestandarddeviationwasfoundtobewithinanaccepta
