Methods: Inthisstudy,differenttypesoffungalculturemediawereevaluatedfortheirabilitytosupportthegrowthanddevelopmentofvariousfungalspeciescommonlyfoundinanimalfeed.ThemediaincludedSabouraudDextroseAgar(SDA),PotatoDextroseAgar(PDA),MaltExtractAgar(MEA),andDichloranRoseBengalChloramphenicol(DRBC)Agar.Eachmediumwasinoculatedwithastandardizedsampleofanimalfeedandincubatedatoptimalgrowthtemperaturesforfungi. Results: TheresultsshowedthatSDA,PDA,andMEAsupportedthegrowthofthemajorityoffungalisolatesobtainedfromtheanimalfeedsamples.SDAprovidedexcellentgrowthoffilamentousfungi,especiallyAspergillusandPenicilliumspecies.PDAexhibitedrobustgrowthofyeastsandmolds,includingCandidaandRhizopusspecies.MEAsupportedthegrowthofbothfilamentousfungiandyeasts,makingitasuitablechoiceforgeneralfungalisolation.However,DRBCAgarshowedlimitedeffectivenessinsupportingthegrowthoffungi,asitinhibitedthegrowthofcertainfungalspeciesandresultedinpoorcolonydevelopment. Discussion: Theselectionoftheappropriatefungalculturemediafortheisolationoffungiinanimalfeediscrucialforobtainingaccurateandreproducibleresults.SabouraudDextroseAgar(SDA)isawidelyusedmediumthatsupportsthegrowthofmanyfilamentousfungicommonlyfoundinanimalfeed.Itshighglucosecontentprovidesanamplesourceofenergyforfungalgrowth.PotatoDextroseAgar(PDA),ontheotherhand,containstheessentialnutrientsrequiredforthegrowthofbothyeastsandmolds.Ithasbeennotedforitsabilitytosupportthegro
