建构主义理论下的基础英语教学模式研究 Abstract Constructionisttheoryprovidesvaluableinsightintothefieldoflanguagelearningandteaching.Basedontheideathatknowledgeisactivelyconstructedthroughinteractionwithone'senvironment,thistheoryadvocatesforlearner-centeredapproachestolanguagelearningthatencouragelearnerstotakeanactiveroleinthelearningprocess.ThispaperexplorestheconceptofconstructionismanditsrelevancetothefieldofEnglishlanguageteaching.Specifically,thispaperaimstoinvestigatetheeffectivenessofaconstructionistapproachtoteachingbasicEnglishtonon-nativespeakers.Theresearchwillexaminethekeycharacteristicsofconstructionistlearning,andhowtheycanbeappliedtodesigningeffectivelanguagelearningexperiences.ThispaperproposesaconstructivistapproachtoteachingbasicEnglishtonon-nativespeakersthatincorporatesthefollowingcomponents:learnerautonomy,interactivelearning,andmeaningfullinguisticencounters. Introduction Thestudyofforeignlanguageshasbecomeanincreasinglyimportantaspectofglobalcommunicationandculturalexchange.Assuch,itiscrucialtodevelopandimplementeffectivelanguageteachingmethodologiesthatcatertotheneedsandgoalsoflearners.Overtheyears,numeroustheorieshavebeendevelopedtoexplainhowlanguagelearningoccurs.Onesuchtheoryisconstructionism,whichisgroundedintheideathatknowledgeisactivelyconstructedbylearnersthroughinteractionwiththeirenvironment.Thistheoryemphasizesthatlearningisapersonalandsocialprocess,andthatlearnersconstructtheirownunderstandingthroughengagementwiththeirsurroundings. Constructionistlearningisparticularlyrelevanttolanguageteachingbecauseitemphasizesthatlanguagelearningismuchmorethanjustmemorizinggrammarrulesandvocabulary.Instead,itadvocatesforapproachestoteachingthatallowlearnerstotakeanactiveroleinthelearningprocess,andtoconstructmeaningthroughinteractionwiththeirpeersandthelanguageitself.ThispaperwillexplorehowconstructionismcanbeappliedtoteachingbasicEnglishtonon-nativespeakers.
