Introduction: Theproductionoftungstenisanimportantindustrialprocess,butitgeneratesasignificantamountofwaste.Inparticular,theprocessingoftungstenoreproducesalargeamountoffineoreslurry,whichistypicallystoredintailingspondsordischargedintorivers.However,thesedisposalmethodscanhavenegativeenvironmentalimpactsandareoftencostlytomaintain.Asaresult,thereisagrowinginterestintherecyclingoffineoreslurryintungstenselectionplants. MaterialsandMethods: Thestudywasconductedinatypicaltungstenselectionplant.Asampleoffineoreslurrywascollectedfromtheplant'stailingspondandanalyzedinthelaboratory.Thelaboratorytestsincludedparticlesizeanalysis,chemicalcompositionanalysis,andflotationtests.Thesetestswereusedtodeterminetheoptimalconditionsforrecyclingthefineoreslurry. Results: Thelaboratorytestsshowedthatthefineoreslurryconsistedmainlyofquartz,feldspar,andmica,withtraceamountsoftungsten.Theparticlesizedistributionwasskewedtowardsfinerparticles,withasignificantportionofparticlessmallerthan10microns.Theflotationtestsshowedthatthefineoreslurrycouldbeeffectivelyseparatedintoconcentrateandtailings,witharecoveryrateofaround70%. Theeconomicanalysisshowedthatrecyclingthefineoreslurrycouldprovidesignificantcostsavingscomparedtotraditionaldisposalmethods.Themainsavingscamefromreducedstorageandmaintenancecosts.Theenvironmentalassessmentshowedthatrecyclingthefineoreslurrycouldalsoprovidesignificantenvironmentalbenefits,includingreducedwaterusage,reducedgreenhousegasemissi
