Introduction: Cabbageissusceptibletovarioussoil-bornepathogensthatcauseroottumordisease,includingPlasmodiophorabrassicae,Agrobacteriumrhizogenes,andRhizoctoniasolani.Thesepathogensinfectcabbageroots,leadingtotheformationofgalls,deterioratedrootsystems,andimpairednutrientuptake.Asaresult,theoverallcabbageplantgrowthishindered,culminatinginreducedyieldandquality.Breedingcabbagevarietieswithresistancetoroottumordiseaseisaneffectiveandsustainableapproachtomanagethisdisease.Theidentificationofcabbagegermplasmresourceswithnaturalresistanceandtheexplorationofresistance-relatedgenesarefundamentalstepstowardbreedingresistantcultivars.
