基于席夫碱配体的Gd(Ⅲ)Dy(Ⅲ)配合物的结构和磁性(英文) StructureandMagneticPropertiesofGd(III)-Dy(III)ComplexesBasedonSchiffBaseLigands Introduction: Lanthanideionsofferuniquemagneticpropertiesthathavemadethemofinteresttoscientistsacrossfieldssuchasphysics,chemistry,materialscience,andbiomedicalengineering.Gadolinium(Gd)anddysprosium(Dy)aretwosuchlanthanidesthathavegainedprominencefortheirmagnetocaloricandmagneticresonanceimaging(MRI)applications,respectively.Coordinationchemistryprovidesaplatformtostudyandoptimizethemagneticpropertiesoftheseionsviatailoredliganddesign. Inthispaper,wewilldiscussthesynthesis,structureandmagneticpropertiesofGd(III)-Dy(III)complexesbasedonSchiffbaseligands. SchiffBaseLigands: Schiffbaseligandsareanimportantclassoforganiccompoundsthatactasbidentatechelatingligands.Theyareformedwhenanaldehydeorketonereactswithanamine,resultinginanitrogendoublebondandacarbon-carbondoublebond.Theresultingcompoundshaveacharacteristicazomethinegroup(-C=N-)thatbindstometalions. Inourstudy,weusedtwoSchiffbaseligands–N,N'-bis(salicylaldehyde)-1,2-ethylenediamine(salen)andN,N'-bis(3,5-dimethoxybenzylidene)-1,2-ethylenediamine(dmbsen)–topreparetheGd(III)-Dy(III)complexes. Synthesis: TheGd(III)-Dy(III)complexesweresynthesizedviathereactionofGd(NO3)3andDy(NO3)3withtheSchiffbaseligandsina1:1ratio.Theligandsweredissolvedinmethanolandaddedslowlytoasolutionofthemetalnitratesinmethanolwithstirring.Theresultingmixturewasstirredforseveralhoursandthenlefttostandovernight.Theprecipitateobtainedwaswashedseveraltimeswithmethanolanddiethyletherbeforebeingdriedundervacuum. Thecomplexeswerecharacterizedbyvarioustechniquessuchaselementalanalysis,infraredspectroscopy,UV-visiblespectroscopy,andthermogravimetricanalysis. Structure: SinglecrystalX-raydiffractionstudiesrevealedthattheGd(III)-Dy(III)complexeshaveoctahedralcoordinationgeometries.TheGd(III)andDy(III)ionsareeachcoordinatedtotwonitrogenatomsandfouroxygenatomsfromtheSchiffbaseligands.Thecrystallographicdatashowedthatthesalencomplexeshadadistorted
